At the heart of adventure sports in Hermanus, you will find Hermanus Adventures. From hosting some of the first trail run events in the country, to building and managing a trail network for mountain bike and trail running enthusiast alike, we are at the heart of action adventure in the Overberg region.
Hermanus Adventures is responsible for the maintenance and management of roughly 70km of trails in the Hemel & Aarde Valley – a trail network which are frequented by world class riders and events like the Cape Epic, Wines 2 Whales, Trailseeker Series and more.
Recently, Dusty Feet Outdoor Pursuits also joined the Hermanus Adventures family, and working closely to offer adventure activities to youngsters and families, nursing a love for the outdoors and adventure sports. Dusty Feet offered us some Virtual Challenges post Covid, when all events went to a standstill. They also make use of our trails for skills clinics and trail training with junior riders and assist in the maintenance and upkeep. With a close working relationship, Hermanus Adventures and Dusty Feet work together in hosting our events, directing and marking trails and doing the route coordination.
